Part-time work
During your studies, you may be interested in a part-time job to fit alongside your studies; our team can help you in the job search, application, interview, and support with advice and guidance throughout. We also host a part-time job fair during second semester, allowing you to speak face-to-face with employers and inquire about opportunities.

Workshops
We have tailored Careers and Employability workshops running throughout the year. With help from how to get a student job, writing CVs and Cover Letters and preparing for interviews and assessment centres. All students are welcome to enhance their expertise, develop their knowledge, collaborate and network with guest attendees.

Our events run throughout the year, with the largest being the Careers Fair held in Semester A. Open to students from all years and recent graduates, there is the chance to meet employers with live vacancies, build connections, and learn what employers are looking for.

Extracurricular and co-curricular activities
We offer a range of support for equality of opportunity, including an opportunity fund to assist students with financial considerations. There is also a bespoke mentoring scheme called Lincoln Connect, which pairs students with professionals from our network of employers, providing dedicated coaching sessions and a hub of both information and support for all topics.
Student Enterprise
Do you aspire to become an entrepreneur or undertake freelance projects? The Student Enterprise Team at the University of Lincoln provides a range of support services to students and graduates, including workshops, mentoring, and funding opportunities for those considering a career as a freelancer or starting their own business.

As a graduate of the University of Lincoln, you can continue to access career support via the University for up to two years after graduation, helping you establish your chosen career path.
